Born to Willie and Winifred Andow (nee Hammett) at Chew Stoke, Somerset. Sister of Albert Ernest William "Sam" Andow (1909 - 1996) and Sidney Richard "Dick" Andow (1911-1944). Married William Southgate (1901-1975) on 18/08/1934 at Stowey, Somerset. Mother of Gerald (1935-2006), Elizabeth (1941-46), and Janice; my grandmother.
