thought he was born in england. searched the records to no avail, well searched all years but same month and day nothing comes up . could have been born in ireland, but thers two parts, to ireland, or even scotland. he was in the merchant navy i think between 1936 and 1943 he trained as a mechanical engineer any info absolutly greatfully recieved. cos cant find any info about him. av got his marriage certificate but that dosent help in finding him
