This was my Uncle Tom Egerton. He was the oldest of five children to Thomas and Mary Egerton (nee: Jenkins). They boarded the Montcalm on April 18, 1925 and arrived Pier 21, Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada on April 26, 1925. Tom was just 5 y/o, Iris was 3, and Violet only 6 Weeks old. Once in Halifax they took the CPR Rail into the Toronto Ontario area. They settled in the Richmond Hill area, where both Jean and my father James William were born. Then relocated later to the Kingsville, Ontario where my Dad met my Mom. Thomas and James rest in the Kingsville area. Grandpa & Grandma rest in a Richmond Hill cemetery. Iris is still alive in the Toronto area.
