How to Create Classifieds - For Free and reach a Global Audience

Enables members to add and view items being offered for sale

Enables member to advertise items that they may wish to sell including Postcards, Stamps, Documents, Genealogical Services or CDs and many other items of memorabilia and ephemera.

The only two pre-requisite to creating an announcement are that you must be a registered member (which is free) and you must have set up a Profile (which is also free).

Step 1 - Go to Classifieds

Go to My Account (found on the top menu bar) and select Classifieds as shown.

Step 2 - Post a Free Classified

On the right hand side there is a button - Post a Free Classified

This will open a new form

Step 3 - Complete the information on the form Post a Free Classified

Ensure that you are as specific as you can be on the Category and Sub Category and once you are ready click on Continue

Step 4 - The following Listing Details form will appear

Complete the information as required and you can upload a photograph of the item you are selling as well.

Once you ready simply click on the Save Button and you will get the following message

Step 5 - The following Listing Details form will appear

To view your classified you will see on the right side below Post a Free Classified View My Classifieds click

You can also browse and search for items and classifieds advertised.

When you select View My Classifieds you will be provided with all the Classifieds you have created.

To edit your classified which can do at any time click on the edit button which is the icon that looks like a pencil.

The red cross or X is to delete a classified.

Step 6 - You can also browse through the classifieds to view items offered for sale

Please note the following important Information about Classifieds

• They are valid for 30 days only at which time they expire and are deleted.

• Because the new features are in Beta you are limited to 5 classifieds.

• Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions and the house rules about what items we allow to be posted on the classifieds.
