Search Features & Benefits for BMD Indexes
New Search feature - Age at Death GRO Deaths includes an "about Birth date"
Familyrelatives.com have introduced a new search aid when searching the GRO (General Register Office) Deaths Indexes from 1866 - 1920 and now includes an "about Birth date" for easier searching and matching.
Many of you asked for enhanced search features at the Family History Show 2008 and we are already working on these. One of them is the "About Birth date" for the GRO death results from 1866 - 1920. The records already provide the Age at Death however it is no longer necessary to try and calculate the approximate Birth date, we have done this for you.

This article was written by author and genealogist David Tippey as a helpful guide on how to get started in family history on the Familyrelatives.com website. There are three types of Databases on Familyrelatives.com where records have been fully transcribed, partially transcribed on a "surname range" basis and browseable records with images.
Fully transcribed records means every record in that dataset has been fully transcribed manually (from an image) including last name, forename, district, year etc. enabling faster and accurate searching
