Familyrelatives.com is pleased to announce the release of a new image viewer. The new image viewer is designed to render very high quality greyscale images without the need to always download a plugin.All new databases will use the new image viewer. The same great functionality will be available and will be expanded; including an easy to use contrast and brightness slider bar. We have also made it possible for you to share images with friends and family for free for up to 14 days.

The new image viewer will eventually replace the DJVu Lizardtech plugin viewer that is currently used on some existing databases, if you are unable to view an image continue to download the DJVu Lizardtech plugin viewer. For newer databases the new viewer will appear automatically when viewing images.

We are delighted to provide a new and unique feature on Familyrelatives.com

We have taken in excess of 50 million historical death records and have mapped them for the first time. By typing out a name it searches over 600 million records in our databases - extracts all the deaths and clusters them before providing an average age for each county and mapping it.

GRO Birth, Marriage & Deaths 1984 - 2005
Search the GRO BMD records for free and add a comment to the existing record, login or register for the full GRO index district and volume information. A subscription or units are necessary to view the complete data.

Quick Registration
If you have not registered previously when adding a comment to the record please complete a quick registration form which will take just a few minutes.

How to Add a comment to a record?
Search as normal and if you find an Ancestor who is of interest simply click on Add a comment and save. This will automatically place the research in My Research. If you have chosen to share your research with others it will automatically match any other members who are searching the same information. Remember if you want to add a comment you first need to set up a Profile.

Familyrelatives.com adds more features to the site

Familyrelatives.com has launched four more features that enable members to create their own Homepage, upload family photographs, sell items online in the Classifieds section and make Announcements on important events. These new features will allow members to promote and share with other researchers their findings and interests.
